“Tree of Knowledge” installation by Projekt “M” by Milind Soman and Madhu Jain. “Tree of Knowledge” will be the first segment of the opening ceremony of Commonwealth Games 2010 and will cover a duration of 9-10 minutes of the 50 minute event.
It is proposed to source unique fabrics with the help of Madhu Jain’s years of expertise in the field working with the country’s fading craft traditions, and fashion these fabrics into as many as 25 panels, which will be put together to create a 110-foot-high, 40-inches wide tree trunk for THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE.
